Gritty snowshoes, snowboards his way around Lake Tahoe on vacation
Flyers mascot joined team in Stateline, Nevada for Honda NHL Outdoors Sunday

The Philadelphia Flyers are in Lake Tahoe, which means Gritty's getting a vacation.
The Flyers mascot arrived in Stateline, Nevada ahead of Philadelphia's game against the Boston Bruins at the Honda NHL Outdoors Sunday at Edgewood Tahoe Resort.
about his need for a vacation. He packed only the necessities, including a rubber duck and umbrella hat, though he had some difficulties fitting everything in his suitcase.
Gritty's trip west, presumably his first outside of Pennsylvania, coincided with the Flyers' first outdoor game since the 2019 Stadium Series, which also was memorable for his naked in-game antics. He seems to be enjoying his break so far, going for a nice snowshoeing trip clad in his fur coat and flying down the slopes on his snowboard.
