Griffith and Namestnikov 4 points each as Knights beat Greyhounds 6-1 @NHLdotcom

SAULT STE MARIE, Ont. - Ryan Rupert scored two goals as his London Knights crushed the host Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds 6-1 on Wednesday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Seth Griffith had a goal and three assists for the Knights (28-8-1) while Chris Tierney, Dane Fox and Andreas Athanasiou scored a goal apiece. Vladislav Namestnikov chipped in by setting up four goals.

Corey Durocher scored the lone goal for the Greyhounds (18-18-4), who have now dropped three straight games.

Michael Houser made 32 saves for his league-leading 27th victory as Matt Murray allowed three goals on eight shots before being pulled in the second period for Charlie Millen.

Millen stopped nine of 12 shots in relief.

London went 2 for 5 on the power play while Sault Ste. Marie scored once on nine opportunities with the man advantage.
