TORONTO - Goaltender Kyle Gajewski, who won all three of his starts last week with the Sault Ste. Greyhounds, was named the Ontario Hockey League's player of the week Monday.
Gajewski posted a 3-0 record with a 1.33 goals-against average and .957 save percentage. He helped the Greyhounds sweep the Guelph Storm 4-0 in their best-of-seven playoff series.
Gajewski, 21, of London, Ont., is 8-1 with a 1.89 GAA and .936 save percentage in nine playoff games. He was 39-16-1-3 with a 2.44 GAA and .913 save percentage in 60 regular-season games.
