Gregg Sutch scores winning goal as Sting earns 4-3 win over Storm @NHLdotcom

SARNIA, Ont. - Gregg Sutch scored the winning goal in the third period as the Sarnia Sting defeated the Guelph Storm 4-3 in Ontario Hockey League action Thursday.

The win moved the Sting (32-25-3-3) within one point of Guelph (32-24-4-3) for fifth place in the Western Conference.

Guelph's Matt Kennedy opened the scoring, but Sarnia roared to a 3-1 lead after 20 minutes on goals from Matt Martin, Jamie Arniel and Michael Neal.

Guelph came back on goals from Tyler Carroll and Tyler Melancon before Sutch put the game away.

Sarnia's Mark Katic had three assists Guelph outshot the Sting 31-27.

Sarnia's Dan Spence was in goal for the win, while Guelph's Brandon Foote took the loss.
