It isn't just hockey players and coaches that history-making team has captivated

The Vegas Golden Knights are moving on to the Western Confernce Final and if you were anywhere near a social media account you probably heard about it.

The expansion franchise continued its historic run by closing out the San Jose Sharks on Sunday. They are four wins away from earning a trip to the Stanley Cup Final in their first year of existence.

No sport has seen anything quite like it.

The team decided to celebrate the occasion with a preseason video of William Karlsson singing a duet with an Elvis Presley impersonator during a team building excursion (and what a team they have built). The song choice, of course, was "Viva Las Vegas."

Speaking of impressions, the team also posted a post-game video of Jonathan Marchessault doing his best to channel rapper Lil Jon.

Lil Jon, a big Golden Knights fan, also passed along his congratulations.

If you need proof the whole city is behind the team, there was evidence on Twitter.

Tweet from @Vegas: Congrats to the @GoldenKnights for another amazing series win! Western Conference Final, here we come. #GoKnightsGo #VegasBorn https://t.co/bH7mx9xea0

Pro poker player Daniel Negreanu thinks goalie Marc-Andre Fleury, who posted the shutout, deserves some love.

Tweet from @RealKidPoker: Marc-Andre Fleury deserves consideration for Conn Smythe winner whether he wins the next round or not. 4 shut outs. 4.

Hall of Fame hockey player Mike Modano knew the key to the win.

Tweet from @9modano: So it continues. @GoldenKnights, speed kills. #vegasstrong

The WNBA's Las Vegas Aces, who hope to follow in the Golden Knights very successful first-year footsteps this season, also sent their congrats,

Even a dog hopped on the bandwagon.

Even after a big effort to get where they are, Vegas will need to plan quite the encore when they face either the Nashville Predators or Winnipeg Jets.
