Over the past week, the Golden Knights have been involved in games that have had nonstop drama.
Starting with last Sunday's overtime win against the Arizona Coyotes, the Golden Knights entered Saturday having won three straight games, the two most recent in a shootout.
Although it didn't quite require the drama of the past three wins, the Golden Knights extended their winning streak to four by defeating the Dallas Stars, 5-3, at American Airlines Center.
The Golden Knights are now 19-9-1, with 39 points.
Here are three immediate takeaways from tonight's game.

1. Responded At The Right Times
The Golden Knights never trailed in this game. In fact, they led on three separate occasions, including at the game's conclusion.
Although this would appear that the game was comfortable for Vegas all night, this was hardly the case early. When the Golden Knights took their first two leads of the game, the Stars quickly responded.

When Alex Tuch opened the scoring, Tyler Pitlick tied the score 2:15 later. When David Perron gave Vegas its second lead, Jason Spezza tied the game 27 seconds later.
But rather than have the momentum wrestled away from them, the Golden Knights kept pounding the Stars back onto the mat.

After the Stars tied it at 2-2, the Golden Knights came back and scored two goals in the next 3:10. And Dallas never got up from that Vegas volley.
Credit the Golden Knights for not losing steam when the Stars kept tying them early in the game.

2. Lagace Commendable
With Malcolm Subban on a roll, and Marc-Andre Fleury having resumed skating, it doesn't seem as if Maxime Lagace would get many more starts with the Golden Knights.

Although on the second half of a back-to-back, Gerard Gallant elected to start Lagace against the Stars, a franchise he played in the minor league system of the past three years.
Lagace responded with one of his best performances of the season. He made 35 saves on 38 shots.
Lagace hasn't received as much kudos as his Golden Knights goaltending counterparts, but is actually now 6-6-1 for the season. Not too bad at all.

3. Season Series Clinched
Of all the Golden Knights' Western Conference foes, the Stars became the first team that Vegas finished its season series against. Despite a 3-0 loss at T-Mobile Arena on November 28, the Golden Knights secured the season series with tonight's win, coupled with a 2-1 win in Dallas on Opening Night.
In total, the Golden Knights went 2-1-0 against the Stars, with the road team winning all three games.
Although the Golden Knights have yet to complete their season series with the Arizona Coyotes, Vegas has already guaranteed itself an advantage in this head-to-head by winning the first four meetings.
Through two months, the Golden Knights have two season series decided, and both in their favor.
