Goalie Flette stops 23 shots as Edmonton beats Kamloops 4-0

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - Goaltender Dalyn Flette stopped 23 shots Friday night, leading the Edmonton Oil Kings to a 4-0 WHL victory over the Kamloops Blazers.

Flette, who was traded by Kamloops to Edmonton on June 6, recorded his first shutout of the season and second of his career.

Tomas Vincour, with two, Craig McCallum, and Brenden Dowd scored for the Oil Kings (19-29-4-6), who snapped a four-game losing streak.

The Blazers (26-29-2-2) have lost two in a row.

Kamloops goaltender Justin Leclerc turned aside 28 shots.
