Glover with 28 saves to lead the Hitmen over the Tigers 5-2 @NHLdotcom

MEDICINE HAT, Alta. - Brandon Glover made 28 saves as the Calgary Hitmen defeated the host Medicine Hat Tigers 5-2 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Alex Roach, Alex Gogolev, Joe Kornelsen, Danny Gayle and Trevor Cheek scored for the Hitmen (30-17-3), who won their fifth straight contest, while Collin Bowman and Jimmy Bubnick chipped in with two assists each.

Hunter Shinkaruk and James Bettauer had a goal apiece for the Tigers (30-17-4), who had their six-game winning streak snapped, while Emerson Etem assisted on both.

Tyler Bunz made 34 saves in a losing effort.

Calgary went 3 for 3 on the power play as Medicine Hat scored twice on five opportunities with the man advantage.
