Glennie scores a pair of goals to pace Brandon past Swift Current 5-4

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Scott Glennie scored twice to lead the Brandon Wheat Kings to a 5-4 win over the Swift Current Broncos on Wednesday night in the Western Hockey League.

Glennie had a shorthanded goal and a power-play marker to lead the Wheat Kings (14-10-2) to an early 2-0 lead. Brenden Walker, Michael Ferland and Mark Schneider added singles for Brandon.

Swift Current's offence was led by a two-goal effort from Justin Dowling, who now has 13 goals on the season. The Broncos (12-11-2) also had singles from Derek Claffey and Brad Hoban.

Brandon netminder Andrew Hayes won his 11th game of the season by turning aside 38 shots.

Broncos goaltender Morgan Clark made 42 saves.
