Gilbert scores twice, including winner in OT, as the Attack beat the Battalion @NHLdotcom

OWEN SOUND, Ont. - Jay Gilbert scored twice, including the winner in overtime, as the Owen Sound Attack defeated the visiting Brampton Battalion 4-3 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Cameron Brace had two goals and an assist for the Attack (19-17-5) while Daniel Catenacci picked up three assists.

Sam Carrick scored a goal and an assist for the Battalion (22-10-7) as Brenden Miller and Matt MacLeod scored the others.

Scott Stajcer made 35 saves for the win while Keegan Wilson stopped 22 shots in defeat.

Owen Sound went 2 for 6 on the power play as Brampton failed to score on four opportunities with the man advantage.

Despite the loss, the Battalion have earned a point in 11 straight games.
