Giguere out 1-2 weeks with groin strain @NHLdotcom

TORONTO (AP) -Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender J.S. Giguere is expected to miss one to two weeks with a groin strain.

Giguere pulled himself from Tuesday's 5-4 victory over Nashville after experiencing discomfort.

The Maple Leafs recalled James Reimer from the AHL Marlies to take his place.

Reimer has yet to appear in an NHL game. He served as a backup for a game in October 2009 after being called up on an emergency basis.

The 22-year-old has appeared in nine AHL games this season, posting a 5-3-1 record with a 2.90 goals-against average and .918 save percentage.
