Gibbons scores twice as Ottawa scores five straight to beat Storm 6-3

GUELPH, Ont. - Travis Gibbons scored twice as part of a five-goal run for the 67's as Ottawa defeated the Guelph Storm 6-3 on Friday night in Ontario Hockey League action.

Ryan Martindale, Thomas Nesbitt and Andrew Merrett also scored as the 67's (5-9-4) built a 5-1 lead. Dalton Smith added another midway through the third period.

Ben Chiarot, Mathew Sisca and Matt Kennedy replied for Guelph (9-7-1).

Rookie Petr Mrazek made 21 saves for his first OHL victory. Storm netminder Matt Hoyle was pulled after allowing four goals on 24 shots. Cody St. Jacques stopped 16 of 18 in replacement.
