Gatineau Olympiques sweep Halifax Mooseheads to advance to QMJHL finals @NHLdotcom

GATINEAU, Que. - Jean-Philip Chabot and Paul Byron each scored twice as the Gatineau Olympiques swept the Halifax Mooseheads to advance to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League finals.

Claude Giroux also scored for the Olympiques in the 5-2 win while goaltender Ryan Moir made 22 saves.

Andrew White and Colby Pridham scored for the Mooseheads and Mark Yetman stopped 28 shots.

The Olympiques will face the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies in the final.
