Tonight the road trip continues for the Sharks in Calgary, as the team takes on the Pacific Division rival Flames at 6:00PM.
The Sharks kicked off their short four-day jaunt through Western Canada on Wednesday with a 4-3 overtime win over the Edmonton Oilers that didn't see the team take the lead until they won in overtime. Three times the Oilers took the lead, and three times the Sharks tied it up later that period. Logan Couture and Brenden Dillon each scored a goal, while Tomas Hertl bookended the effort; he scored both the Sharks first goal and the overtime winner.
Martin Jones continued his strong play in net on Wednesday with 25 saves, including a few game-savers in overtime. He also kept the Sharks in the game as they were trying to find their legs in the first period.
One negative did come from Wednesday's game. Jones Donskoi left the game early, and as of this morning there's been no word on his status. Stay tuned for news from morning skate, which should clear things up.
The Sharks and Flames have met twice before this season, with both times being 3-2 victories by the Sharks (one in the shootout). They will meet once tonight, and once more next Saturday to round out the season series.

The team took the ice this morning at Scotiabank Saddledome in Caglary. Both Joonas Donskoi and Evander Kane did not participate. Donskoi, out with an upper body injury is day-to-day, as Evander Kane is a game time decision with a lower body injury. Martin Jones was confirmed in net for tonight's matchup.
