The San Jose Sharks finish out their Western Canada road trip tonight in Vancouver. This is the last meeting this season between the Sharks and Canucks.
The Sharks are coming off a great 7-4 win over the Calgary Flames last night. Evander Kane scored four goals, registering his first career hat trick. Kane, acquired by the Sharks from the Buffalo Sabres at the trade deadline, became the fourth player in San Jose history to score four goals in a game.
The three other goals for the Sharks came from Kevin Labanc, Tomas Hertl and Eric Fehr on the empty net. Goaltender Martin Jones made 30 saves for Team Teal. With Jones in net last night, we can most likely expect Aaron Dell between the pipes tonight for the second half of the back-to-back.
The Sharks still remain at second place in the Pacific. With last night's win, the Sharks are now three points ahead of the Los Angeles Kings. The Canucks remain out of the playoff race so these two points are critical for the Sharks tonight.

With no morning skate today due to the back-to-backs, there was no news of lineup decisions until two hours prior to the game.
Sharks head coach Peter DeBoer revealed that, as expected, Aaron Dell gets the start in the second half of back-to-backs. Paul Martin is in for Joakim Ryan, who is day-to-day with an upper-body injury.
