The Nashville Predators (38-29-8) will visit the Dallas Stars (41-21-14) Monday at American Airlines Center.

Last Time Out

Nashville improved to 19-14-4 at home in 2022-23 with Saturday's win over St. Louis. The Predators closed out their four-game, regular-season series against the Blues with a 2-2-0 record.
The Predators outshot the Blues, 35-22, including by a 15-4 margin in the third period. Nashville also won 75 percent of its faceoffs (36-for-48). Eight different Predators skaters recorded a point, led by Tommy Novak's first career four-point game (1g-3a).

All-Time Meetings

The Predators are 48-49-(1)-5 all-time against the Stars, including a 17-30-(0)-3 record on the road. This is the fourth and final matchup between Nashville and Dallas in 2022-23 and the second of two at American Airlines Center.
Nashville is 0-3-0 against Dallas this season. The teams met in Nashville's first two North American games of the 2022-23 season on Oct. 13 (home) and Oct. 15 (road); they last played on Dec. 27, a 3-2 loss for the Predators.

The Good Guys

• Saros is 27-15-6 with a 2.58 goals-against average and .922 save percentage in his last 48 games dating back to Nov. 12. His 27 wins in that time frame are tied for the fourth-most in the NHL; he is third in save percentage since Nov. 12 (among goalies with at least 30 GP). Saros earned his 30th win of 2022-23 (30-21-7) on Saturday vs. St. Louis to become the third goaltender in Predators history to record consecutive 30-win seasons, joining Pekka Rinne and Tomas Vokoun.
• Luke Evangelista has 38 points (15g-23a) in 43 games with Nashville since being recalled from Milwaukee (AHL) on Dec. 19. He tallied a career-high four points (1g-3a) on Saturday vs. St. Louis. In a 23-game span since Feb. 18, Novak has posted 27 points (11g-16a) - tied for the 13th-most among NHL skaters - including seven multi-point efforts.
• Since making his season debut on Feb. 13 vs. Arizona, Philip Tomasino has recorded 17 points (5g-12a) in 24 games. He has 11 points (3g-8a) in his last 12 games after scoring on Saturday vs. St. Louis.
• Cody Glass owns 28 points (12g-16a) in his last 49 games. He's found the scoresheet in 17 of his last 34 games (9g-11a). Glass has established career highs in goals (13), assists (18) and points (31) this season.
• Novak has 34 points (14g-20a) in 42 games with Nashville since being recalled from Milwaukee (AHL) on Dec. 19. In a 22-game span since Feb. 18, Novak has posted 23 points (10g-13a) - tied for the 19th-most among NHL skaters - including six multi-point efforts.
• Tyson Barrie posted a four-game point streak (2g-4a) from March 21-26. Since being acquired from Edmonton on Feb. 28, the defenseman has recorded 10 points (3g-7a) in 17 games.
• Kiefer Sherwood has points in seven of his last 16 games (3g-5a).
• Colton Sissons scored on Saturday vs. St. Louis to give him 15 points (6g-9a) in his last 34 outings. Sitting at 28 points (12g-16a), he is two from matching his career high of 30, set in 2018-19 (15g-15a).

The Other Guys

The Stars, who sit in third place in the Central Division, are 3-2-0 in their last five games following a 5-2 loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday.
Jason Robertson leads the Stars in goals (42), assists (55) and total points (97). He has eight points (1g-7a) in his last five games. Joe Pavelski also has seven goals and four assists over the past 10 games. Jake Oettinger ranks among the top-10 NHL goaltenders in Goals Against Average (2.47), save percentage (.917) and shutouts (4).
