Game 7 Dwarfs: 3-0, 3-0 and back to work Bruins go @NHLdotcom

BOSTON (AP) -The Boston Bruins are in shock after wasting a chance to advance to the Eastern Conference finals.

The Bruins blew a three-goal lead in Game 7 of the conference semifinals, which they failed to close out after taking a 3-0 series lead against the Philadelphia Flyers.

The symmetry was too much to bear for the Bruins.

Boston defenseman Johnny Boychuk said "disappointment is an understatement." But he doesn't think the Bruins choked.

The Bruins have lost four straight Game 7s, and two years in a row they've lost Game 7 of the Eastern Conference semifinals at home.

The good news is that Boston owns the No. 2 pick in the draft, thanks to a trade that sent disgruntled scorer Phil Kessel to Toronto last summer.
