Galiardi scores two goals to propel Calgary past Red Deer 5-2 @NHLdotcom

CALGARY - T.J. Galiardi scored twice, including the game winner, to lead the Calgary Hitmen to a 5-2 win over the Red Deer Rebels in Western Hockey League action Friday night.

Ian Duval had a goal and two assists for the Hitmen (22-11-1-2), who snapped a three-game losing streak, while Kyle Bortis scored once and set up another. Carson McMillan rounded out the scoring for Calgary, while Brandon Kozun, Keith Seabrook, Ryan White each chipped in with two assists.

Spencer Edwards and J.D. Watt scored for the Rebels (9-23-4-1), who lost their second straight game.

Calgary goalie Martin Jones made 14 saves for the win. Red Deer starter Morgan Clark stopped eight of the 12 shots he faced before being relieved by Travis Rolheiser, who made 13 saves.
