Landeskog to have hearing with Player Safety

Avalanche forward faces discipline from NHL for cross-checking Flames left wing Tkachuk

Colorado Avalanche forward Gabriel Landeskog will have a hearing with the NHL Department of Player Safety on Monday for cross-checking Calgary Flames left wing Matthew Tkachuk.

The incident occurred at 16:07 of the first period at Pepsi Center on Saturday. Landeskog received a two-minute minor penalty.
The Flames
defeated the Avalanche 3-2
.
The following grounds are being considered for supplemental discipline: cross checking. However, the Department of Player Safety retains the right to make adjustments to the infraction upon review.
