Gabriel Dumont scores with 37 seconds left as IceCaps edge Marlies 5-4 @NHLdotcom

TORONTO - Gabriel Dumont scored with 37 seconds remaining as the St. John's IceCaps defeated the Toronto Marlies 5-4 in American Hockey League action Sunday.

Dumont's winner came less than a minute after Rinat Valiev tied the game for Toronto.

St. John's scored three times in the third period as the Marlies lost for the first time this season when leading after two periods. Toronto had won 17 in a row this season when it had the lead after 40 minutes.

Michael Bournival, Joel Hanley, Bud Holloway and Jacob de la Rose also scored for St. John's (15-8-7).

Brendan Leipsic had a goal and two assists for Toronto (24-6-2), while Zach Hyman and Justin Holl also scored.

Zach Fucale stopped 20 shots for the IceCaps, while Ray Emery made 26 saves for the Marlies.
