Funk scores pair to lift Kamloops Blazers to 6-3 win over Red Deer Rebels @NHLdotcom

KAMLOOPS, B.C. - Ryan Funk scored twice to lift the Kamloops Blazers to a 6-3 victory over the Red Deer Rebels in Western Hockey League play on Friday night.

Brendan Ranford, Jake Trask, C.J. Stretch and Dylan Willick had tallies for Kamloops (21-20-5).

Landon Ferraro, Alex Petrovic and John Persson replied for the Rebels (23-18-4).

Kamloops goaltender Kurtis Mucha stopped 35 shots, while Darcy Kuemper of the Rebels turned aside 12 of 16 before being replaced by Kraymer Barnstable. He stopped seven of eight.

It was the Blazers fourth straight victory, their longest winning streak this season.
