UPDATE: The Wild
announced
Tuesday afternoon that winger Zach Parise will miss Tuesday's game and is week-to-week due to a fractured sternum suffered in Game 3 vs. Winnipeg. Updated lineups are below.
ST. PAUL -- The Wild accomplished its goal of getting back into its First Round Stanley Cup Playoff series against the Winnipeg Jets with a win in Game 3. Now it will do what it can to draw even.
The Wild and Jets play Game 4 at Xcel Energy Center on Tuesday night, and despite a dominating 6-2 win Sunday night, the Wild knows it's going to have to bring another level to its game Tuesday.
Winnipeg, which dealt with travel nightmares associated with the weekend's blizzard, has been comfortably in St. Paul for two days now. It's also listened to fans and prognosticators doubt its game.

Minnesota is expecting a big push from the Jets, and must counter with one of its own.
"It's just as important a game for them as it is for us," said Wild forward Nino Niederreiter. "I think we need to focus on us, make sure that we do all of the little things right and play with passion, play with emotion and do everything we can to get the win tonight."
Emotion helped carry the Wild a good part of the way through Game 3; Minnesota played a fast-paced and spirited game with its backs against the wall and the Wild will try and replicate that effort on Tuesday.
Minnesota worked hard to earn at least one return trip to Winnipeg for Game 5 on Friday; the last thing it wants is to go back to Bell MTS Place facing elimination. The Jets are the League's top home team, and going back to Winnipeg with the series tied at 2-2 would amplify the pressure on the second-seeded Jets.
"It's sort of a must-win here, I would think," said Wild coach Bruce Boudreau. "We're still a desperate hockey club."
The Wild also knows it has areas of its game where it can improve. That includes its efficiency in the neutral zone, an area that was of major concern in the first two games of the series on the road, but improved in Game 3.
"We've gotta be better. I don't think we had a perfect game last time," said Wild defenseman Jonas Brodin. "We need to get pucks deep and have some longer shifts in the offensive] zone. We need to keep playing hard and be ready from the start."
Despite the improvement from Game 3, Boudreau said he believes there's another level to get to there. He didn't want to tip his hand in terms of specifics, but needless to say, the coach believes there's plenty of room to get better.
"We want to do better in all key areas," Boudreau said.
Minnesota is expected to come back with the same lineup as in Game 3, while the Jets could be without defenseman Tyler Myers, who was injured during the second period on Sunday and did not return to the game.
Myers did not take part in morning skate and TSN's Darren Dreger reported that he flew back to Winnipeg for further treatment.
