COLUMBUS, OHIO -Columbus Blue Jackets game telecasts on FOX Sports Ohio received an Emmy at the 53rd Annual Ohio Valley Regional Emmy Awards presented last weekend. The Ohio Valley Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, which consists of Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton and Zanesville, along with parts of Kentucky, Indiana and West Virginia, awarded the Columbus Blue Jackets on FOX Sports Ohio the Emmy forSports Event/Game - Live/Unedited.

The Blue Jackets television on-air team featured play-by-play announcer Jeff Rimer, color analyst Jody Shelley, rink side reporter Dave Maetzold with hosts Brian Giesenschlag and Bill Davidge in 2016-17, while game direction and production included FOX Sports Ohio's Ed Milliken, Tom Farmer, Bob Pennell, Brian Filippetti and Matt Sigafoos. This year's award marks the fifth time that Blue Jackets coverage on FOX Sports Ohio has been honored.
In addition, an Emmy was awarded to the Blue Jackets 2016-17 Opening Night video produced by Post House Creative, a Columbus-based creative content and visual production company, in the category of Editor - Short Formwith Angela Nabors recognized as the editor.
