Froese's natural hat trick propels Everett past Red Deer 6-3 @NHLdotcom

EVERETT, Wash. - Byron Froese scored a natural hat trick, leading the Everett Silvertips to a 6-3 victory over the Red Deer Rebels on Wednesday night in WHL action.

Froese scored his goals during the second period, when Everett hit the scoresheet five times in 11 minutes to take a 6-1 lead. Kellan Tochkin added two goals and three assists and Tyler Parker added his first career goal for Everett (17-14-5-0). Shayne Barrie made 33 saves in goal for the Silvertips.

Cody Esposito, Joel Kot and Willie Coetzee scored for Red Deer (15-20-0-5). Darcy Kuemper stopped 17 of the 21 shots he faced in goal for Red Deer, while Morgan Clark gave up goals on both shots he faced during a second-period cameo.
