Froese has three points, Heemskerk stops 24 as Everett blanks Seattle 4-0

EVERETT, Wash. - Byron Froese had a goal and two assists, leading the Everett Silvertips to a 4-0 victory over the Seattle Thunderbirds on Friday night in Western Hockey League action.

Thomas Heemskerk stopped all 24 shots he faced to record his second shutout of the season as Everett (24-25-7-2) snapped a franchise-record six-game home losing streak.

Taylor Ellington, Mike Alexander and Graham Potuer also scored for the Silvertips.

Calvin Pickard made 19 saves in goal for Seattle (25-28-1-3).
