Froese and Langkow both score twice as Everett lashes Chilliwack 5-1 @NHLdotcom

EVERETT, Wash. - Byron Froese and Chris Langkow each scored twice, leading the Everett Silvertips to a 5-1 victory over the Chilliwack Bruins in Western Hockey League action on Saturday night .

Kellan Tochkin also scored for Everett (27-16-3), which won its eighth straight and leap-frogged Spokane and Portland into second place in the U.S. Division. Kent Simpson earned the win in goal with 19 saves.

Ryan Howse scored for Chilliwack (20-22-6), which lost its fourth straight. Lucas Gore stopped 21 of 25 shots in goal for Chilliwack before being pulled in the third period. Braden Gamble stopped eight of nine in relief.
