Friesen scores twice as the IceDogs beat the Spitfires 6-3

WINDSOR, Ont. - Alex Friesen scored two goals and Mark Visentin made 26 saves as the Niagara IceDogs defeated the Windsor Spitfires 6-3 Friday night in Ontario Hockey League action..

Steven Shipley, Trevor Petersen, Dougie Hamilton and Andrew Agozzino had the other goals for the IceDogs (13-10-2).

Kerby Rychel, Michael Clarke and Ben Johnson replied for the Spitfires (12-13-4).

Windsor starting goaltender John Cullen was pulled after allowing four first-period goals on 17 shots. He was replaced by Jaroslav Pavelka, who allowed only one goal on 25 shots in relief.

Niagara went 2-for-3 on the power play while Windsor failed to score on either of their opportunities with the man advantage.
