Friesen and Pacan two goals each as IceDogs down 67's 7-3 @NHLdotcom

ST CATHARINES, Ont. - Alex Friesen and David Pacan each scored twice as the Niagara IceDogs defeated the visiting Ottawa 67's 7-3 on Saturday in Ontario Hockey League action.

Steven Shipley had a goal and two assist for the IceDogs (46-18-3), who are winners of their past four, while Joel Wigle and Brett Ritchie added single goals.

Dougie Hamilton chipped in with two assists.

Mike Cazzola, Sean Monahan and Tyler Graovac scored a goal apiece for the 67's (40-19-8).

Christopher Festarini made 22 saves for the win while Michael Nishi stopped 33 shots in defeat.

Niagara went 2 for 3 on the power play as Ottawa scored once on six opportunities with the man advantage.
