Francis scores pair as the Winter Hawks take down Prince George 4-1

PORTLAND, Ore. - Chris Francis scored twice in the second period and added an assist to lead the Portland Winter Hawks over the Prince George Cougars 4-1 in the Western Hockey League on Friday night.

Travis Bobbee opened the scoring for Portland (6-14-0-0). Colin Reddin added an empty-netter with less than two minutes remaining to put the game out of reach.

Dallas Jackson had the lone goal for the Cougars (9-13-0-1).

Kurtis Mucha made 26 saves for the Winter Hawks, while Prince George netminder Kevin Armstrong stopped 34 shots.
