Four players suspended after pre-game brawl between AHL's Admirals and Falcons @NHLdotcom

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - A pre-game brawl between the Norfolk Admirals and Springfield Falcons has resulted in several American Hockey League suspensions.

Admirals winger Eric Neilson and Falcons centre Adam Mair have each received three-game bans after they fought during the pre-game warmup in Norfolk on Saturday.

Norfolk forward Pierre-Cedric Labrie and Springfield defenceman Greg Amadio will sit out two games for their role in the melee.

Both teams have also been fined an undisclosed amount.

According to the Virginian-Pilot newspaper, the fracas started after Mair, Amadio and teammate Cody Bass called out Labrie from centre-ice during the warmup.

The Admirals went on to win 5-1, their 12th straight victory.
