Forsberg's goal early in third period leads Cougars over Rockets

KELOWNA, B.C. - Alex Forsberg's goal 34 seconds into the third period stood as the winner as the Prince George Cougars edged the Kelowna Rockets 3-2 in Western Hockey League action Saturday.

Campbell Elynuik and Cody Carlson also scored for the Cougars (9-18-2), who came back from a 2-1 deficit.

Brett Bulmer and Carter Rigby replied for Kelowna (11-14-3).

Drew Owsley made 16 saves for Prince George.

Adam Brown stopped 28 shots for Kelowna.
