Fontaine scores game's first two goals, leads Aeros to 4-1 win over Heat @NHLdotcom

HOUSTON - Justin Fontaine scored the game's first two goals and the Houston Aeros defeated the Abbotsford Heat 4-1 in American Hockey League action Tuesday.

Jeff Taffe had a goal and three assists and Jon DiSalvatore also scored for the Aeros (29-20-12), who had a 4-0 lead by the 15:08 mark of the second period.

Pierre-Luc Letourneau-Leblond replied for Abbotsford (32-25-6), which has lost three games in a row.

The Aeros moved into a four-way tie four sixth place in the competitive Western Conference with Abbotsford, San Antonio and Lake Erie.

Joe Fallon made 26 saves for Houston.

Leland Irving stopped 23 shots for Abbotsford.
