Foligno, Bobrovsky push Blue Jackets past Predators @NHLdotcom

Nick Foligno scored two goals, and Sergei Bobrovsky made 45 saves in the Columbus Blue Jackets' 3-2 preseason win against the Nashville Predators at Nationwide Arena on Saturday.

Cam Atkinson scored, and David Savard had two assists for the Blue Jackets, who begin their regular season Oct. 9 on the road against the Buffalo Sabres.

Predators forward Eric Nystrom scored a shorthanded goal at 10:58 of the first period, and James Neal scored his first of the preseason with 1:33 left in the third. Pekka Rinne stopped 20 of 23 shots.

Nashville opens its regular season Oct. 9 at home against the Ottawa Senators.
