Philadelphia Flyers forward Ryan White will be sidelined 2-4 weeks with an upper-body injury, the Flyers announced Sunday.

White was hurt in the third period of the Flyers' 3-2 overtime win Saturday against the Carolina Hurricanes when he was checked by Hurricanes defenseman John-Michael Liles. He left the ice and did not return.

The Flyers are also missing defenseman Mark Streit and forward R.J. Umberger. Streit will have surgery Tuesday to repair a pubic plate detachment and will miss six weeks. Umberger is on injured reserve with a lower-body injury.
