The Philadelphia Flyers have re-signed right wing Nicolas Aube-Kubel to a two-year contract extension worth an average annual value (AAV) of $1.075M, according to President of Hockey Operations & General Manager, Chuck Fletcher.

* The contract will run through the 2021-22 season.

* This past season, Aube-Kubel recorded 15 points (7g-8a) in 36 regular season games, a +1 rating while averaging 11:17 of ice time.

* Of his 15 total points, he posted 10 of those points, including five goals, in the final 15 games before the NHL Pause on Mar. 12 to help the Flyers go 12-3-0 in that stretch.

* After he was recalled on Dec. 15, he led all players on the team in hits (82) in his 36 games.

* He added another three points (2g-1a) in 13 Stanley Cup Playoff games, while leading the team in hits (52) during the postseason.

* He recorded his first NHL goal in a 5-1 win vs. New York Rangers on Dec. 23, 2019.
