The Philadelphia Flyers agreed to terms on a multi-year contract extension with center Brayden Schenn, they announced Monday.
Per team policy, no financial terms were disclosed. TSN's Bob McKenzie reported it's a two-year deal worth an average of $2.5 million per season.
Schenn, 22, recently completed his third season with the Flyers and had 41 points (20 goals, 21 assists) in 82 games. In his three seasons with Philadelphia, he has 40 goals and 45 assists in 183 regular-season games and 12 points (three goals, nine assists) in 18 Stanley Cup Playoff games.
Earlier Monday, the Flyers traded left wing Scott Hartnell to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for forward RJ Umberger and a fourth-round pick at the 2015 NHL Draft.
