Flyers-Sabres on VERSUS on Wednesday

The Philadelphia Flyers went 2-for-2 out West. They'll try to carry that success back east when they visit the Buffalo Sabres in one of three games on Wednesday's NHL schedule.

The Flyers have had three days off after winning 4-3 in overtime at Anaheim on Friday and 4-2 at Phoenix the next night. The Sabres are also well-rested – they haven't played since a 3-2 win at Nashville on Saturday.

Fans in both the United States and Canada can tune in for the 7:30 p.m. ET start – VERSUS will show the game in the U.S. and TSN2 will air it north of the border.

Wednesday's action starts at 7 p.m. ET when the Washington Capitals visit Ottawa in a rematch of the Capitals' 3-2 overtime win last Saturday. Both teams played Monday, with Ottawa beating Tampa Bay 4-2 and Washington losing 5-4 at Florida. That game can be seen in Canada on TSN and RDS.

In the final game of the night, the Carolina Hurricanes will try to bounce back from Tuesday's 7-6 loss at Calgary when they visit Edmonton at 9:30 p.m. ET. The Oilers have been idle since Saturday's 5-3 home loss to the Flames. The game can be seen on TSN in Canada.
