Gritty is the latest to join the "Trick Shot for Snowy" campaign spearheaded by the Calgary Flames.

The Philadelphia Flyers mascot responded to a challenege from Flames mascot Harvey the Hound, who shared his own trick shot of firing a t-shirt from a air cannon over a highway and running it down.

On Thursday, Gritty did a little bit of juggling until he let one of the three balls go right into an oversized green hat on a chair a few feet away. He then challenged Flyers goalie Brian Elliott.

Tweet from @NHLFlyers: Shoutout to Harvey & the @NHLFlames for nominating @GrittyNHL to perform a #TrickShot4Snowy! We nominate @KidElls1 next! You're up, Moose.

Flames forward Sam Bennett also posted a pretty impressive shot on Thursday. He rolls by on a hoverboard, catches a football and throws it into basketball hoops from way far away while still moving.

Bennett was nominated on Tuesday by Flames forward Matthew Tkachuk who, for his submission, smacked a paddleball into a basketball hoop from clear across the court. He even added a little slow motion to the clip.

The Flames started the Trick Shot for Snowy campaign in support of Chris Snow, their assistant general manager who was diagnosed with ALS last year. June is ALS awareness month.

The Flames have set up a page where you can get all the information on the Trick Shot for Snowy campaign. So far the team has raised over $173,000.
