Flyers GM Holmgren to guest on Thursday's NHL Hour @NHL
NEW YORK – Philadelphia Flyers general manager Paul Holmgren will be tomorrow's guest on NHL Hour With Commissioner Gary Bettman on and SIRIUS XM Radio at 6 p.m. ET.  

Since being named general manager late in 2006, Holmgren has transformed the Flyers from a last-place team to one that came within two victories of the Stanley Cup last season. Holmgren, in his 32nd year with the Flyers' organization, signed a three-year contract extension Tuesday.  

The Flyers currently sit atop the Eastern Conference standings with 65 points. They have won seven of their past eight games and have just four regulation losses in their past 20 games (15-4-1). Philadelphia will have three participants on the roster for the upcoming 2011 NHL All-Star Game presented by Discover, including first-time All-Star Claude Giroux, head coach Peter Laviolette -- who will co-coach one of the All-Star teams along with Vancouver's Alain Vigneault -- and Danny Briere, who was MVP at the 2007 NHL All-Star Game in Dallas and who was named to the All-Star player pool today.
