Flyers' Brayden Schenn has broken foot, Philly recalls Rionaldo, Gustafsson @NHLdotcom

PHILADELPHIA - Centre Brayden Schenn has a broken left foot, the Philadelphia Flyers announced Thursday.

The 20-year-old was injured in Wednesday's 5-1 loss to the Montreal Canadiens. Flyers GM Paul Holmgren said he expects Scheen to miss 4-6 weeks.

Schenn had no points in four games and a minus-5 rating with Philadelphia. He had four goals and four assists in four games with the AHL's Adirondack Phantoms.

The Flyers have also recalled left-winger Zac Rinaldo and defenceman Erik Gustafsson from the Phantoms.

Rinaldo has an assist and 28 penalty minutes in five games with Philadelphia this season.

Gustafsson had four assists in eight games for Adirondack.

Holmgren also said defenceman Chris Pronger continues to recover from an eye injury.

"Chris saw Dr. Goldman again (Thursday)," Holmgren said. "He continues to improve daily. Chris will start light exercise on the weekend."
