CALGARY, AB -- The Calgary Flames (15-13-2) will put their five-game win streak on the line tonight when the face the Winnipeg Jets (13-14-3) at the Scotiabank Saddledome (8 p.m. SN, CBC, Fan960).
The Jets are coming off two straight losses at home -- a 4-3 shootout setback to the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday and a narrow 2-1 defeat at the hands of the New York Rangers on Thursday. Before that, the Jets enjoyed a modest two-game road win streak over a pair of Central Division foes -- the Chicago Blackhawks and the St. Louis Blues.
Calgary leads the NHL in road wins with 9, but have yet to find that magic at home, sitting with a sub .500 record of 6-7.
However, the Flames have won three straight at home and look to carry that momentum into tonight's contest.

"Everybody talks about .500 is something, but we're still not there at home," Flames coach Glen Gulutzan stated. "We've stabilized a little bit of our game. The [Jets] have skill, and they have young skill.
"I think it's going to be a real tough match. I think we are both teams that are the same … we're trying to find our footing and our consistency.

"We're both within a couple of points of each other so I think it will be a real good match."
Tonight marks the first meeting between the Flames and Jets this season, with Calgary winning the season series last year (2-1-0).
The new-look Jets have added super-sniper rookie, Patrick Laine to the mix. Laine has sniped 17 times already in 30 games, behind only Sidney Crosby and David Pasternak for the NHL lead.
Of his 17 markers this season, the 18-year-old Fin has converted on the power play nine times and has a lethal one-timer that the Flames will need to be aware of.
"We've never played him before but just watching the highlights, it seems like he has a shot that he can score from anywhere inside the blueline," Mark Giordano said. "You've got to try and play him tight. It's probably a better question after the game.
"We have to read guys and see what their tenancies are and we've never played him before."
The Flames have climbed back into playoff contention in recent weeks and were tied for the lead in the jammed up Pacific Division before last night's games.
The Oilers earned a point against the Minnesota Wild, and the Anaheim Ducks edged the San Jose Sharks, so the Flames woke up in third place this morning.
A victory tonight would vault the Flames back into first place.
"It's nice to be home, and in the position we are in so we have to keep building off this," said Matt Stajan. "We feel good about ourselves, but we are playing a team that is two or three points within us.
"These games are all big, and we know the importance of them.
"We can't afford to take any steps back; we have to keep going and getting points and be solid on home ice."
