Gaudreau-Golf

Johnny Gaudreau showed a new level of bravery Friday.

The Calgary Flames forward allowed golf trick-shot artist Trevor Consavage to hit a drive out from between his legs as part of the tee-off for the Johnny Gaudreau Scholarship Golf Tournament.

"This guy is awesome," Consavage said of Gaudreau after hitting the drive. "He's a legend."
The video shows Consavage's wind-up in slow motion to build suspense, but it does not appear anyone was injured in the making of this video. Consavage blasts the ball straight down the fairway, and Gaudreau seems no worse for the experience.
The second-annual golf tournament, which took place in Egg Harbor City, New Jersey, benefitted the Gloucester Catholic High School student fund in southern New Jersey where Gaudreau started high school. Fellow NHL players Kevin Hayes, Jimmy Hayes, Tony DeAngelo and U.S. Hockey Hall of Famer John LeClair all were scheduled to participate in the event.
