The United Center hasn’t been the home-ice advantage for the Chicago Blackhawks
this season that it was in 2009-10 -- in fact, their eight regulation losses in 14 home games equal the number they had all last season. The Hawks hope to put on a better show for the usual sellout crowd on Sunday when they host the Calgary Flames
in one of five games on the NHL schedule.
The NHL Network will show the game in the United States beginning at 7 p.m. ET. The Hawks will try to bounce back from Friday's 3-0 home loss at Vancouver, while the Flames come to town after a 3-2 shootout win at Minnesota on Friday.
Fans in Canada will have action of their own to enjoy earlier in the day. The NHL Network will air the game between the Philadelphia Flyers
and New York Islanders
in Canada, beginning at 1 p.m. ET. The Flyers come to Long Island after a 5-3 home win against New Jersey on Saturday, while the Islanders are back at the Nassau Coliseum after Friday's 2-0 loss to the Rangers at Madison Square Garden.
The Rangers are home again on Sunday for a 5 p.m. ET faceoff against Ottawa. At 8 p.m. ET, the Anaheim Ducks
try to bounce back from Friday's 4-0 loss to Detroit when they host Phoenix. An hour later, Vancouver comes home after its emotional win at Chicago for a game against the St. Louis Blues
