Calgary Flames general manager Brad Treliving joined NHL Live to discuss his new position and goals for the organization.
Treliving was impressed with how the Flames finished the season while creating an identity as a hard-working team.
'I give a lot of credit to [coach] Bob Hartley, the coaching staff and the players," Treliving said. "This team had a real will to it. I thought the competitive level of the team was excellent. Having said that, we've got work to do. I'm pleased and excited about the future of this team, but we've got to add pieces."
Treliving, 44, is a first-time GM after spending the past seven seasons as assistant GM for the Phoenix Coyotes.
