Fine's shootout winner lifts Sault Ste. Marie to 2-1 win over Guelph

GUELPH, Ont. - Michael Fine scored the deciding shootout goal to lead the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds to a 2-1 road victory over the Guelph Storm in an Ontario Hockey League matinee Saturday.

Fine scored in the third round of the shootout, and Jordan Nolan also had a shootout goal for the Greyhounds (15-18-2-1), who won for the first time in four games.

Dylan King had the lone regulation goal for Sault Ste. Marie, while Bryce O'Hagan turned aside 35 shots to earn the win.

Dennis Hollenstein scored in the shootout for the Storm (18-13-2-3), while Matt Kennedy had the only regulation goal. Jake Fischer made 29 saves in defeat.
