The New York Rangers agreed to terms with forward Filip Chytil on a three-year, entry-level contract on Friday.
Chytil, 17, had eight points (four goals, four assists) in 38 games with HC Zlin of the Czech Extraliga last season. He ranked second in games played, goals and points in the league among players younger than 18.
He was selected by the Rangers with the No. 21 pick in the 2017 NHL Draft.
