Feser's hat trick helps Tri-City snap funk by beating rival Chiefs 6-2 @NHLdotcom

KENNEWICK, Wash. - After losing two straight, the Tri-City Americans took out their frustrations on the rival Spokane Chiefs, beating them 6-2 on Saturday night in Western Hockey League action.

Justin Feser had a career night with a hat trick and an assist, and Drew Owsley finished with 26 saves for Tri-City (3-2-0-0).

The Americans also got goals from Jordan Messier, Adam Hughesman and Jarrett Toll. Brett Plouffe had three assists, while Brendan Shinnimin and Brooks Macek had two.

Spokane (2-2-1-0), which has lost two straight, got two goals from Levko Koper. James Reid and Chase Martin combined for 28 saves in the loss.
