Feser scores in overtime to lift the Americans over the Blazers 3-2 @NHLdotcom

KENNEWICK, Wash. - It took a period of overtime, but the Tri-City Americans are back in first place in the U.S. Division after beating the Kamloops Blazers 3-2 on Saturday in Western Hockey League action.

Justin Feser scored the winning goal for the Americans (16-6-0) while Malte Stromwall and Adam Hughesman scored in regulation.

Chase Schaber and Matt Needham scored for the Blazers (14-6-1).

Cole Cheveldave stopped 33 shots for the win while Ty Rimmer made 22 saves in defeat.

Both clubs went 1-for-6 on the power play.

The win moves the Americans two points ahead of the Portland Winterhawks with two games in hand.
