Ferguson scores winner as Red Deer Rebels down Prince Albert 3-1 @NHLdotcom

RED DEER, Alta. - Brett Ferguson scored the eventual game-winner early in the second period as the Red Deer Rebels downed the Prince Albert Raiders 3-1 in Western Hockey League action Saturday.

Daulton Siwak, with his first WHL goal, and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, with his 22nd, also tallied for Red Deer (33-21-4).

Craig McCallum, on a third-period power play, notched the lone goal for Prince Albert (28-26-5).

Rebels netminder Darcy Kuemper turned aside 35 shots to earn his 24th win of the season. Garrett Zemlak made 29 saves for the Raiders.
