Fehr's two-goal effort lifts Brandon to 2-1 victory over Swift Current @NHLdotcom

SWIFT CURRENT, Sask. - Jay Fehr scored twice to lead the Brandon Wheat Kings to a 2-1 win over the host Swift Current Broncos in Western Hockey League action Tuesday.

Fehr scored on a first-period power play and added his second of the game just seven seconds into the second period to reach the 17-goal mark on the season. It was his fifth two-goal game of the season. Andrew Hayes turned aside 31 shots to record his 17th win of the season for Brandon (25-13-2-1).

Dillon Wagner responded with a third period power-play goal for the Broncos (24-18-0-1).

Travis Yonkman stopped 26 shots for Swift Current, including a penalty shot against Brandon's Andrew Clark at the 5:37 mark of the third period.
